Purpose and objectives of the scientific journal
The Scientific Bulletin of Veterinary Medicine is a scientific journal that publishes peer-reviewed articles based on the results of original research, disease surveillance, and safety monitoring of food and feed products, as well as scientific reviews, analytical reports, and case reports covering various fields of veterinary medicine – morphology, physiology, and pathology in a comparative context; microbiology and immunology; epidemiology, biosafety, and biosecurity; epizootiology and infectious diseases; parasitology and invasive diseases; veterinary management; anesthesiology and animal welfare; surgery and oncology; pharmacology and toxicology; clinical, laboratory, and visual diagnostics; internal medicine and clinical biochemistry; obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biotechnology; veterinary hygiene, sanitation, and inspection; veterinary education; public health and the “One Health” concept.
The journal’s objectives:
– to encourage authors to publish the results of their own experimental, clinical, monitoring, statistical-analytical, and review studies, conducted in accordance with the principles and standards of bioethics and animal welfare, and supported by statistically valid evidence;
– facilitate the publication of articles that comprehensively address issues related to the health of farm animals and horses, birds and exotic animals, companion animals, and laboratory animals;
– meet the informational needs of researchers and specialists in public and private veterinary medicine, as well as students pursuing higher education;
– engaging a wide range of domestic and foreign authors and their research teams in collaboration, particularly those working on grant-funded and targeted national and international projects; highlighting innovative research findings based on the latest biotechnological principles, molecular biological methods, and visual diagnostic tools, as well as environmentally safe biological products, pharmacological agents, and nutraceuticals, and methods and tools of regenerative medicine;
– ensuring the high scientific quality of publications through independent double-blind peer review and adherence to standards of academic integrity and COPE principles.
