ДЕЗІНФЕКЦІЙНІ ЗАСОБИ, СУЧАСНА ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКА ТА БЕЗПЕЧНІСТЬ ПРИ ЗАСТОСУВАННІ У ТВАРИННИЦТВІ
Ветеринарне благополуччя тваринницьких ферм, комплексів і птахофабрик багато в чому залежить від регулярного та ретельного проведення ветеринарно-санітарних заходів. Серед заходів, що спрямовані на попередження заразних хвороб тварин і боротьбу з ними, важливе місце займає дезінфекція. Під поняттям дезінфекції розуміють комплекс заходів щодо знищення у середовищі життєдіяльності людини, тварин і птиці збудників інфекційних хвороб. Основне завдання дезінфекції – розірвати епізоотичний ланцюг шляхом дії на його важливу ланку – фактори передачі збудника захворювання від джерела інфекції до сприйнятливого організму. У більшості випадків існуючі препарати та рекомендації щодо їх застосування були розраховані на великі товарні та промислові комплекси, які неповністю відповідають вимогам дрібних фермерських господарств. Більшість препаратів, що широко застосовуються, є токсичними як для людей, так і тварин (розчин натрію чи калію їдкого, хлорне вапно, фенол та інші), тому їх потрібно обережно використовувати, щоб запобігти отруєнню.
